Dixon Apple Orchard in Cadott, Wisconsin was the location for Brittni’s wedding. Inside the main house is a bridal area, decorated as lovely as the grounds. Before leaving the house, Brittni posed in front of the barn doors attached to the bedroom
Notice Brittni’s feet. She went barefoot with beads on her feet! How cool is that?!Brittni and Tyler did not see eachother until the ceremony, so we began with separate portraits of the bridal party and families
The bride arrived on a horse drawn carriage alongside her dad for her outdoor ceremony at the apple orchard
The wooden door at the top of the hill remained closed until Brittni was prepared. Her brothers opened the doors for her and the music began. Seriously, goose bumps! The grooms father officiated the ceremony and had a heartfelt message for the bride and groomThe couple escaped on their vintage get-away car with musical cans clanging around
OK, the port-a-potty was the groomsmen’s idea 100%! I wasn’t so sure about this non-traditional arrangement but it ended up being so fun! Way to go guys!
Finally, we were able to dismiss the family and fun friends for one-on-one couples portraits
Cake time!
At sunset, we FINALLY were able to visit the beautiful pond. Earlier in the day it was so sunny that it wasn’t ideal to shoot the pond. But at night, well at night it was a totally different story and a beautiful scene
This wedding was a recommendation from a former bride who was a bridesmaid in this wedding. As a Thank You from myself to my former bride, I also shot a few nighttime portraits of her and her husband at this time as well. Thanks you Kaili for recommending me to a wonderful couple and a beautiful wedding day!!
