Lowertown Event Center has an elegant bridal prep room
Melissa and her mother are very close. Their affection was lovely to capture the whole day
Ryan and the guys got suited up at a nearby hotel
Ryan and Melissa’s first look took place at Rice Park. This couple laughs their way through life. Nothing tops laughter in my book
Lowertown’s ceremony space is unique. Urban brick yet a cozy feel would be the way I would describe it
Following the ceremony, the plan was to take bridal party photos in Mears Park across the street. A beer festival was happening on this day. Instead of being put-off by the situation, Melissa and Ryan embraced the chaos. They joined the festival and danced to the band in the street!
There was still portraits to be done. Along the sidewalk were planters separating the street from the restaurant patios. When squeezed against the planters and with an assistant holding a studio flash, it made for a great portrait location
The cake says it all!
Ohh this dessert bar was fabulous
While this fish may not make sense, it made sense when presented by the ladies during the speeches 🙂
While bridal portraits are usually done at the beginning of the day, Melissa and I decided to shoot some at the end of the day because of the chic white leather furniture at Lowertown.
