Minneapolis Event Centers has beautiful picturesque locations throughout the whole space. From bridal prep rooms to stairwells, and interior exposed brick to outdoor landscaping, we had beautiful shooting spaces. Even in the early springtime in MN before outdoor colors come to life.
The guys gathered outside the grooms room before the day began.

Immediately after saying “I Do!”, the married couple ran off to the stairwell to call grandma to announce their marriage. After the sweet moment, we used the awesome space for a quick portraits.
The bride and groom enjoyed mingling and portraits before dinner.
Here is a rare behind-the-scenes moment to demonstrate what can be accomplished with minimal spring color in a fairly urban small space. I wanted fresh color and wasn’t seeing much. Their floral pieces were fabulous. Using them as a frame, these photos are the result. The first image is an unedited shot from my camera to show the space I was working with. The second shot is the image achieved by strategic placement and posing.
