This couple is amazing. The kindest couple that I have ever worked with and SOO fun! Our fun day began with bridal prep at Kaili’s aunt’s house with mimosas for the ladies and shots for the guys. I knew right away that we were going to have a great day.
I love a pretty veil. I know I’ve said that before. But Ill say it again. Veils are the best accessory to any bridal portrait.
I was able to work with Kaili by herself before leaving the house.
Meanwhile, the guys…
As soon as we arrived at Mississippi Dunes Golf Course, we took bridal portraits. These two are just too easy. They were affectionate and happy every second of the day.
Their bridal party was a treat to work with.
Their outdoor ceremony was lovely. The ceremony location overlooks the lake and was just so pretty.
Kaili’s uncle surprised them with his vintage ride to cruise the parking lot with after the ceremony.
Inside the venue, the candles were lit and ready for the party to begin. I always take the bride and groom’s rings at this time for some close-ups with their details.
Sunset photos were important to Kaili so we planned early on that we would step out during dancing to capture sunset. I’m SOO glad we did!
Special thank you to Abby Kjos for assisting me and holding the lighting for these photos. You are a wonderful assistant and friend!
We ended the evening with a shoe-shot. Kaili wore Converse shoes which were also her gift from her husband that she received that morning. This was the prefect way to highlight her unique shoes.
