The Weston Hotel in Mpls is a lovely location for bridal prep and portraits. The girls began their day with wine and fun times.
Azeta’s sister and mother helped her into her gorgeous gown.
We stepped over to the window for a quick portrait before leaving the room to go meet her groom.
The staircase at The Weston Hotel is a beautiful structure for indoor photos.
The original plan for this summer wedding was to take portraits at the Stone Arch Bridge. However, on this day it was over 100 degrees with high humidity. The couple decided to keep all portraits indoors so we remained at the hotel until it was time to go to the ceremony.
The rich walls in the lobby made for a nice backdrop.
The Solar Arts building is a cozy venue with an urban atmosphere. The ceremony was lovely and felt very intimate in this space.
Beautiful exposed brick lined the walls.
Since everything had taken place indoors, I asked the couple if we could step into the alleyway outside the building to add some greenery to their images. I felt like there had to be a hint of summer in her portfolio.
Juan and Azeta had the coolest photobooth I have ever seen. I wish I could have this as a studio backdrop. I would use it often. The bride styled this unique space herself. Wow.
Dinner was served under twinkle lights and the head table enjoyed their mean family-style at their table.

Sugared grapes are a tradition passed down by the brides mother. The couple fed each other a delicious grape rather than a cake-cutting.
The happy couple danced their first dance with their own style. There was lots of singing and laughing and it was fun to shoot this fun group as the night went on.
