Kathy had the prettiest bridal prep location I’ve ever been to. I believe this prep location was the salon lounge in Hudson, WI and I was thrilled with the window light and exposed brick charm.
Portraits began on a lake the couple had scouted while on a run one day. The shade was necessary at this early time in the day.
A nearby walking bridge was great for the bridal party.
Later in the day, after the couple had fun on the limo and was able to let loose, their transportation brought them to another park on the way to Town and Country.
The couple did not want to be posed during this trip to the park. While I love a candid look, posing is essential to making a quality wedding photo. We kept it simple to ensure quality photographs with the candid flare they expected. The couple walked to the water and walked back and added their own personality along the way.
These girls were so funny! I adore their ability to let loose on this trip to the park.
Immediately upon arrival to Town and Country, we met on the side of the building for a moment with this beautiful greenery.
Before dinner, the couple met me outside for a 2 min sunset photo attempt in the rain. I’m happy with the result and their bravery to come out in the rain.
